Spain´s autumn catches on photographers heart

Due to good weather conditions SPOT supported a plenty of professional productions with material from Profoto and Briese. Especially the interest for Briese Lights (www.brieselichttechnik.de) has increased steadily. It is obvious, that photographers pay more attention to the Focus Module System © which offers a wider range of opportunities in using advanced light shaping tools. Further we have lots of interest for our new iWorkcase Product and brand new Lithium Batteries from Profoto (www.profoto.se) Here a selection of our  supported clients in autumn just for the Iberian peninsula:

I´ve got my Production Bag in Seville…

Referring to our growing Production Pool Spain (www.productionpoolspain.com) and Spanish film commissions as members, SPOT visited SILE 2010 exhibition in Seville. This second, successful Seville International Locations Expo has consolidated Seville as the market place for European locations. SILE more than fulfilled its main objectives with 31 exhibition stands representing many different film commissions and national and international film offices. During the three days of the exhibition, which was located in the spectacular setting of the Casino, built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition, SILE played host to some eighty exhibitors. In between SPOT PROFESSIONAL LIGHTSERVICE could extract important information that will serve to support Spain as a first class opportunity for all professional productions for next future.  See you in Spain!

Cheers Mr. Watson

A warm welcome to master of photography Albert Watson (www.albertwatson.net) in Spain. His new photo campaign for Macallan Whisky led him to the beautiful landscape of Andalusian town Jerez and to the northern region Santander. Due to our extensive network of branch offices, it has not been a big deal to deliver required light material to any shooting spot on the Iberian Peninsula. In cooperation with our ProductionPool partner we could fulfil all his needs. In the end of the day Mr. Watson had found the art of photography that he was looking for. “The light conditions have been terrific” he said. Cheers Mr. Watson.

As Fresh As a Daisy

To capture attributes of a fragrance into a photo is complicated, but there are few photographers who are able to achieve that. One of them: star photograph Juergen Teller, who rented lighting equipment at our SPOT Office Marbella recently for his new work Daisy Perfume by Marc Jacobs. A full production service from our Production Pool partner guranteed a successful realisation.
